Pacific Singers & Actors Workshop Founders Win Prestigious JEFFERSON AWARD FOR PUBLIC SERVICE!
The Jefferson Awards Foundation was created in 1972 by the American Institute for Public Service. Locally, the award is curated and presented by KPIX, the CBS affiliate. Winners are ordinary people who do extraordinary things without expectation of recognition. The award was founded by Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis, Robert Taft Jr., and Samuel Beard to create a Nobel Prize for public and community service. PacSAW Founders Nicolle Foland, Kristin Clayton, & Curt Branom were awarded in November & will be presented with the award early this year.
Pacific Singers & Actors Workshop was the proud recipient of a grant from the Western Division of the Insurance Industry Charitable Foundation for the 2016-17 school year. The grant allowed PacSAW to offer its program to James Lick Middle School and Visitacion Valley Middle School. Thank you, IICF!
